Year 6 Spark Arena Trip!🚌🚌
Salaam bloggers, Today I will write about the Year 6 Spark Arena trip! All the year 6 had arrived from the bus to Spark Arena! It was so huge and it looked like a fine built building. We waited for the teachers to settle us down. The first place we had to go to had lots of instruments and it had a stage. Everyone sat down and we met Suzy Cato. She told us about all three activities nice and clear. She also introduced us to the CEO of Spark Arena and the person who organised all of the fun his name was Brendan Hines. There was a place called Happy Place, Van Gogh, and Sounds Fun.
There were also 2 other schools that came. Their names were Royal Road and Lincoln Heights. Our school had the opportunity to go to the Happy Place first and Royal Road and Lincoln Heights had to go to Sounds Fun first. After a while of introducing we all went of to our stations.
We went upstairs and entered the gates of Happy Place! It was a giant cookie door. Inside there were XO Letters with pictures of lips. Next to it was a slide. Then when you enter through the next room there is a very deep colourful ball pit! Everyone had a go at it. They jumped in or did a flip. After you had had your turn you could go to other rooms with different places to take pictures. There was an upside down room, a room that says HAPPY in it. There was a room with a unicorn, a room with a giant cookie with chocolate chips you could put your face through. There was also a room that has 3 different things in it, like white coloured chains. There was also a side of the room disco themed and a room with rubber duckies and a bath tub. We had finished taking pictures so we went through the other door and saw marry gold flowers everywhere. The room next to it had a giant transparent case with confetti in it that was flying with air. We could go inside and lay with it.
It was time for us to go to Sounds Fun. Sounds Fun was in the same room we had to go to when we first arrived. We got into 3 groups and did three activities. 1 was where you play instruments with headphones on to learn them. In the 2nd activity were they showed you how to use a Trombone. The 3rd activity was a loop machine were we got to record our voice and edit it. I got to do the Trombone first. We had to blow a raspberry through a small funnel type thing. It then would make a noise. Next we had to put the funnel into the Trombone and blow a raspberry and VIOLA! It would sound like a Trombone. I got to do the Loop Machine next and the instrument learning area last.
All of us went into the Van Gogh art centre. There was large screens with amazing art on it. There was also messages the artist had wrote. Everyone enjoyed it. We went outside and they gave us lunch packs. It had a sandwich, apple, juice and chips in it. Everyone enjoyed coming to Spark Arena. We all wish we can come again and enjoy the fun.
