My free time

In my free time in the holidays I made different objects with shapes. I put the objects in front of me and tried to copy the shapes, letters, fonts and colours. This is one of the creations I made.

I really enjoyed making this so I made some more maybe you guys could also make some creations like this in your holidays.

Getting to Know you form in 2020

Hello and welcome to my first blog of 2020, me and my class made our own getting to know you forms and published it onto our blog post. It took us two weeks to finish it, on it we wrote information about us like stuff we like I wrote I like stars and galaxies because I love space.
We wrote stuff that we don't like I wrote I do not like bulldogs, black dogs or pugs because bulldogs and black dogs look very scary and pugs look weird.
We put on our family background and more we put on a picture of us and we even added lots of color.

Lorde Profile

We have a site called Summer Learning Journey. It has different kinds of fun activities. One of them is to make a profile page about a singer named Lorde and with some facts about her.

What I like about my Lorde profile is the colors and all of the facts about Lorde that I wrote.

Next time I could add more writing than pictures.

Pacific Mamas

We went to the Corban Estate Art Centre to see the Pacific Mamas and do some fun activities. We had to take our shoes of before we went inside.

We made leis using fabric flowers, plastic straws that were cut up into little pieces and string. We had a lot of fun making our leis.

After we finished making our leis they looked like this. The adults also made leis and theirs looked colourful too.

We each took turns on playing the drums. There were log drums and there were skin drums. The log drums are the ones that look like a log and the skin drums are the ones that look like they have animal skin on it.

We learnt a dance. The girls had a different dance than the boys. 

Later we left and I really wanted to stay longer because I had a lot of fun making leis and playing the drums.

Cultural People

On Monday 4th of November we had a special assembly when some of our parents came along to our school to look at the cultural people. We painted cultural people to put up on the schools plain fence to make it more colourful.

Hi, we made a blog profile. 
We had to put information about us on it. We had to have photos and speech bubbles.
I like my tittle page because it has my favourite colours. It has my favourite writing font on it and it looks like a blue sun.

One thing I would change would be slide 3 because it has less information about me.
